Research suggests that an estimated 130,000 dogs are brought into re-homing centres each year in the UK alone. All of these dogs need help, they need a warm place to sleep, food in their tummies and someone to show them that they are loved and safe. This is where superheroes like Linda come in.

Linda founded her charity ‘Linbee Dog Rehoming’ in 2014 and has successfully re-homed 515 dogs to date. Based in North Yorkshire easily reachable from Hull, Doncaster, Leeds and more. They have a no kill policy and believe that every dog deserves a second chance.
It is so clear to see the love and passion that Linda has for each and every one of the dogs in her care. She has a strict adoption policy and ensures that the dogs only go to the very best homes.

I was lucky enough recently to visit the centre and meet Linda and all of the wonderful dogs that she is currently looking after. I took some photos of the dogs and shared a cuppa and cake with the team to learn more about the amazing work they do.

There are many ways that you can help the charity
– Walkies! If you live in or around the DN14 area and can spare an hour the doggies would be so grateful
– Fundraising, a coffee morning, sponsored run or anything in between. All money raised benefits the dogs in so many ways
– Donating, raffle prizes, tombola prizes or items for auction
– Fostering, see the fostering information here
Do you think you could offer a dog a second chance at happiness?
